Dr. Maxwell Moore DC grew up in Portola Valley, CA. With both of his parents being the chiropractors for his local community, Dr. Moore was exposed to chiropractic care at a very young age and gained an early appreciation for the profession. Dr. Moore graduated from UC Berkeley in 2015 with a Major in Environmental Sciences and Minors in Forestry and Silviculture and Geographic Information Systems. However, throughout his undergraduate studies chiropractic still remained a passion of his, so on top of his core curriculum and minor studies he also took all of the prerequisite classes for applying to chiropractic college.
Dr. Moore graduated Magna Cum Laude from Palmer West College of Chiropractic in 2020. He was awarded the Palmer West Fellowship Award and was a member of the Pi Tau Delta Chiropractic Honor Society. During his time in chiropractic college, Dr. Moore served as the president for the Student California Chiropractic Association and tutored the gross anatomy courses. After graduating, Dr. Moore continued his studies into clinical anatomy and biomechanics and he holds a certification in Functional Range and Conditioning (FRC). Through this training, he has become a movement specialist and is able to detect and correct improper movement patterns in his patients.
Dr. Moore currently serves as the president for the San Mateo District of the California Chiropractic Association. Dr. Moore was awarded with the California Chiropractic Association's Outstanding New Practitioner Award for 2022.
Dr. Moore is an Eagle Scout and enjoys hiking, music, and most outdoor activities. He is passionate about serving the community that he was raised in.
